Finding space in York city centre during the annual St Nicholas Fayre is no mean task, but when retailers in the Coppergate Centre asked us to come up with something family friendly to help draw people in during the crucial Christmas shopping period, we were keen to put a vacant unit - a self-contained retail pod - back into use.  Ideally, we wanted to involve loca

illuminating York is the UK’s longest-standing and most popular annual digital light festival.  Plans for 2016, the festival’s 11th year, included original co-commissions with York Minster and the National Railway Museum, but no headline promotional story or single theme.  IY16 took place from 26–29 October 2016.

For the second year running, we were tasked with doing the PR for Castle Howard’s all-important Christmas season, and for the second year running Castle Howard celebrated a bumper Christmas opening, with new records set for festive afternoon teas and visits to Father Christmas, as the stately home’s Angels on High drew the crowds.
